Three short videos from our head trainer. Watch them once before your first job.
Kitchen
Quick checks
Floor covered in crumbs? Vacuum first, then mop.
Wiping benches: lift items, clean under them, put them back neatly.
Oven cleaner on a benchtop? Never — it permanently damages the surface. Oven cleaner goes inside the oven only.
Inside the microwave? Yes, every time.
Order of work: top to bottom, floors last.
Bathroom
Quick checks
Start by removing all products and items, wiping them dry, then cleaning the surfaces.
Finish by vacuuming the mats, mopping, removing rubbish, and making sure the floor is dry.
Behind the toilet: by hand with a cloth and all-purpose cleaner.
Living areas and bedrooms
Quick checks
Dust every surface and tidy objects so the room looks presented, not just cleaned.
Don't forget skirting boards, light switches, door handles, under cushions and behind doors.
A regular customer whose home is heavily cluttered every visit? Request More Time so it's approved and paid.
Surprise and delight
The extras that turn 4 stars into 5 — and earn tips: fluff and straighten cushions, make the beds, fold bathroom towels, line up shoes, tidy magazines and toys, fold the end of the toilet roll into a point, dust the picture frames.
