We use a milestone-based commission model that rewards you for referring customers who become recurring clients.

How does tracking and attribution work?

We track referrals through two methods:
1. Tracked Links
Every partner gets a unique referral link (e.g. `simplymaid.com.au/go/your-name`). When someone clicks your link, a 30-day cookie is set in their browser. If they book within 30 days, the booking is attributed to you.
2. Promo Codes
You also get a unique promo code. Customers can enter it during checkout. Promo code attribution takes priority over cookie tracking.
Attribution rules:
First-click attribution — the first partner whose link the customer clicks gets credit

30-day cookie window — the cookie lasts 30 days from the click

Promo code override — if a customer uses a promo code, that partner gets credit regardless of cookies

Net-new customers only — commissions are only earned on customers who haven't booked with Simply Maid before

When and how do I get paid?

Payout cycle: Monthly
Approved commissions are batched and paid out once per month. Here's the timeline:
Booking completes → Commission is tracked

7-day hold window → Commission moves to "pending" status

Admin approval → Commission is approved for payout

Monthly payout → Approved commissions are paid out

Payment methods:
Your payout method is configured in your partner dashboard. We'll work with you to set up the best option.
No minimum threshold — even small amounts are paid out on the regular cycle.

How is commission calculated on recurring bookings?

We use a milestone model — you earn a commission each time your referred customer completes a clean, up to 5 cleans.
How milestones work:
Milestone 1 (first clean): $30 commission

Milestones 2–5 (recurring cleans): $7 each

The milestone counter tracks completed cleans for each referred customer. If a customer pauses their recurring plan and resumes later, the counter continues from where it left off.
Example timeline:
Customer completes first clean → you earn $30

Customer completes second clean → you earn $7

Customer cancels third clean → no commission (cancelled bookings don't count)

Customer completes a rebooked third clean → you earn $7

And so on up to milestone 5

Maximum per customer: $58 ($30 + $7 × 4)

TikTokers, YouTubers, Instagram creators, and lifestyle influencers who create content about home, lifestyle, or local living.
Content Partners
Bloggers, newsletter writers, deal sites, comparison websites, and SEO affiliates who write about cleaning, home services, or lifestyle topics.
Strategic Partners
Local businesses, real estate agents, property managers, and other service providers who want to refer their clients to trusted cleaning services.
What we look for:
Genuine audience or customer base

Alignment with our brand values

Clear promotion plan

Australian audience (we serve 7 cities across Australia)

We review every application individually and approve partners who are a good fit.

Your earnings depend on how many customers you refer and how many become recurring clients.

What happens if a customer cancels or requests a refund?

Accepted Answer

Commissions are only earned on completed bookings. If a booking is cancelled before completion, no commission is tracked.
Commission reversal:
If a commission has already been tracked but the booking is later reversed (e.g. refund, dispute), the commission will be reversed too.
Commission states:
Tracked — Booking completed, commission recorded

Pending — Past the 7-day hold window, awaiting approval

Approved — Ready for payout

Paid — Included in a completed payout

Reversed — Cancelled due to refund, dispute, or policy violation

The 7-day hold window exists to account for cancellations and refund requests before commissions become eligible for payout.

How do I access my partner dashboard?

Books and completes a cleaning service through your referral link or promo code

Existing Simply Maid customers (even if they use your link)

Self-referrals (you cannot refer yourself)

Customers who have previously booked under a different email/phone

Our system automatically checks whether a customer is new when processing attribution. You don't need to verify this yourself — it's handled automatically.

Important: Self-referrals are not allowed. You cannot earn a commission on your own bookings. This policy exists to keep the program fair for all partners.
